I intern at Howest, so simply walked from Building J to Building A, where the event was held. The event was organized by Howest University in Belgium, and the guest speaker was Inti de Ceukelaire, a well-known figure in the field of technology and innovation.
We were notified that it would be busy. Inti is a very interesting person, so I was prepared for a full room. When I entered the campus building, I confirmed that it was indeed busy.
Foreword
We were welcomed by William Schokkelé, who introduced the event and the guest speaker. He explained that the event was part of a series of talks organized by Howest to bring together students, faculty, and industry professionals to discuss the latest trends and innovations in technology.
Intro
Inti began with a cool intro, where he played a video and entered the room at the end of the video, met with applause I didn't take a video because I was watching in amazement.
The rest of the event
The rest of the event was a mix of presentations, demonstrations of how AI can be hacked.
It was so interesting that I forgot to take notes of what was said, but I did manage to take some pictures of the slides.
Back Home
On the way back home (which consisted of a 5-minute walk, a 13-minute train ride, a 20-minute bus ride, and a 5-minute walk), I was able to take this beautiful picture of the sunset from the train platform.
